Mini Vacation, Pt. 1

Ok... enjoying the benefits of civilian employee life...
I got to take the family along on my first business trip last week.
So here's the kiddo's looking sharp pool-side (thanks to the company dime), and enjoying the natural surroundings of the pond next to the hotel. Maybe we'll just go camping in a business park from now on, since they have the most lush landscape settings around!
On our way back home on the last day, I had to stop by the motorcycle shop to pick up some parts, so naturally the kids needed to "try on" some bikes, like Gib on this KTM.
Oh, and I had to include (for Tim) a picture of the oil drain plug on my new motorcycle. It's magnetic--a thing of beauty. What you see is the chia-pet-like "hairs" of metal shavings that collect as part of the engine break-in period. The wondrous magnetic cylinder grabs them right out of the oil and prevents them from recirculating through the engine & cylinder, preventing excess wear. That plug is normally a perfectly square-edged cylinder, so you can tell it's a lot of metal debris!
