Eye See You!

For the dozen of you who recognize this location, this is for you. For the rest of you, well, I encourage you to take your broadband and go check out Microsoft's answer to GoogleEarth: Local Live. Same ol' overhead maps, but the cool feature is BIRDSEYE VIEW! That's where this picture comes from. If the center of your current map happens to have the Birdseye View support, the little skyscraper icon will be illuminated and available. Then you'll have 2 to 4 cardinal direction views (N, S, E, W) to choose from, and 2 levels of zoom ("-", "+"). It's addictive.

Now back to this picture... wish I had one more zoom level to identify this "shady character" walking across the parking lot! Probably about to climb into "big blue" and go get donuts. - Click image to see full view.

The Motocross Home

Based on the keen interest by you blog friends out there, here's a picture (took it myself) of the "motocross home" as we like to call it. 2 acres of dirt and desert brush in Phelan, CA...oh, and a house is on it, too. By the way, not pictured is the neighbor's 5 acre property with similar track in their backyard! Nothing a neighborly smile and a plate 'o hot cookies from next door can't facilitate! Ah, but we're not quite there yet... still need an offer on our current house so we can get that ball rolling.

I found this 4 mo. pic of Sadie at Lu's blog... I'm being outmaneuvered by technology! "But I still love technology."

I also discovered how we can finance motocross bikes for the whole family plus 1 for a guest (that's a total of 7 right? No problem). I got my "Family Readiness Center" outbriefing today and they told me about jobs for Ang... notably, jobs in the "NAF" realm. The part of the Air Force known as Non-Appropriated Funds... jobs at the barber shop, bowling alley, youth center. Clearly a great opportunity for Ang, and a blessing to all who shall pass through our tubular steel starting gates!

I think there ought to be a faith-based youth motocross camp, that instills Christian values and morals while learning 2-wheeled dirt skills. Draft curriculum soon to follow.
